Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum project size TerraFlux works on?
We work exclusively with commercial and industrial clients, on projects from 500 kW upward. Typical engagements range from rooftop and captive installations to 30 MW open access solar. We assess each enquiry on its merits.
Do you work outside India?
Our primary market is India — commercial and industrial facilities seeking rooftop solar, open access, captive generation, or BESS integration. Contact us to discuss your facility requirements.
How long does a site feasibility assessment take?
A preliminary feasibility note — covering irradiance, grid connectivity, and land constraints — typically takes five to seven business days from the date we receive the project information. A full Detailed Project Report (DPR) takes three to six weeks depending on project complexity.
Can TerraFlux act as Owner's Engineer on a project where a different firm is doing the EPC?
Yes. Our owner's engineering mandate is legally and commercially separate from our EPC delivery. We regularly serve as independent OE on projects where another EPC contractor is executing. This is particularly common for DFI-funded and foreign-equity projects where lenders require a conflict-free technical oversight party.
Do you offer OPEX / RESCO models, or only CAPEX EPC?
TerraFlux's primary model is CAPEX EPC — we build and hand over the asset to the client. We do not currently offer RESCO or OPEX ownership models. For clients who need zero-capex financing, we can advise on structuring options and suitable financial partners.
